THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF TMA PARTICIPATES ON THE 66TH SESSION OF THE EXECUTIVE COUNCIL OF THE WORLD METEOROLOGICAL ORGANIZATION

The Director General of Tanzania Meteorological Agency   Dr. Agnes Kijazi as a member of the Executive Council of the World Meteorological Organization is attending the 66^ths session of the Executive council started on 18^th June, 2014 in Geneva. This years’ session focuses on guiding work on weather and climate services with emphasis on the WMO priority areas that includes:    Disaster Risk Reduction, Service Delivery, the Global Framework for Climate Services (GFCS), Capacity Development, WMO Integrated Observations and Information Systems (WIGOS/WIS) and Research.
