World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in collaboration with TMA have organized this workshop that aims at building a strong data foundation to achieve an improved understanding of the role of key climate drivers that lead to climate extremes such as drought and floods.
On the other hand, the workshop focus on rescuing the historical weather and climate data in the region especially those data which are still in paper forms and in deteriorating conditions.
