CLIMATE ADAPTATION RISK AND OPPORTUNIES INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS' WORKSHOP AT UBUNGO PLAZA, 5TH TO 6TH OCTOBER 2016

TMA and UK Met Office organized an internal stakeholders' workshop under Climate Adaptation Risk and Opportunities in Tanzania project, to share some gather user requirements for better service improvement. Sectors discussed were agriculture, water and energy to start with.

The workshop involved internal experts from agromet, hydromet, climate, forecast, modelling, marketing sections and zonal and regional officers.

Goal is to increase climate resilience and support socio-economic growth in Tanzania
Objectives is TMA to support stakeholders to make climate smart decisions based on relevant, reliable and accessible climate information.
